Evans Creek Canyoneer 7-23-16

Evans Creek Canyoneer…..Exploratory, with Keith Campbell. Kevin Clark, and Kaitlin Rupert.
Only info online was that there was an upper falls, mid falls, and a lower falls…that being said, we rapped 8-falls, plus a few down climbs and a few slides.
Evans Creek is a beautiful canyon with lots of fun drops…even in the low water flow. Rap 5 was the “Upper Falls”, 175’ split up by a 25’ fall into a waist deep pond then immediately over a 150’ falls where you are in the middle of the flow. This falls could be dangerous in higher flow. Rap 7 is a 75’ falls, knows as the “Mid Falls”. We found a nice drop line DCL partially in the flow, just enough to get wet.
Another fun beautiful PNW canyon…
