Deb and I summited Hood last Sunday. It was a beautiful night to climb with the full moon. No headlamps needed. Lots of climbers on the mountain with the near perfect conditions. I was pleased to see everyone behaved themselves…no accidents. We did see a couple of Chemek teams (six on each rope)…glad we were descending below the hogsback when we saw them…Yikes! Had lunch at the Rams Head, at the Timberline Lodge, after the climb…very nice. Even got a table by the window.
