Blowout Trib…
I’ve been eyeing this on for a long time, probably too long. It would have been a bit more exciting with more water, as with most of these tributaries. Lidar showed lots of excitement on this drainage which drops 2300’ in less than a mile. We were hoping for more water, but not the case. It was warm enough to not have to wear wetsuits. The approach was straight forward and fairly clean, and the exit was a bit thrashy, boggy, and steep at the end. Definitely would do this one again but a little earlier…if the upper road is snow free.
