Chocolate Ears…
Tagged a pinnacle with Mr Olson…calling the route Bitter Sweet. Aided our way up, adding hangers for a nice 5.7 sport route to the summit. This was a FA in the North Oregon Coastal Range. Surprisingly decent rock quality. One mile walk in on private timer land. You must obtain a free permit to walk in, but it’s as easy as getting online, registering, and receiving one in your email.
Fun little adventure…worth the drive and short walk in.
