I’ve been hearing that Henline Creek is a must do…I’ve just never had the chance to drop it…until yesterday. Wow, what a pretty canyon!
We missed the two upper falls due to Mr Karl thinking he knew more than the beta…my bad, should have listened to Deb…she knew.
By the time we got to Henline Falls, it was raining pretty hard so we decided to not continue down to the North Fork Santiam confluence.
The flow was low, but enough to take a shower on most of the falls. Will definitely do this one again.
Side note…The following pics were taken by my lovely wife, Deb. Thanks Love!
Today we chose NOT to use the drift wood chock…
Navigating the water course down to the main anchor at the top of Henline Falls…
Low to Moderate low flow today…with a lot of rain…
Typical for PNW canyoneering…I think it came out of one of our helmets 🙂
