Kokee Overlook…
This short trail, on the island of Kauai, really doesn’t have a name (that I know of), so since it’s located in the Kokee State Park, and it ends at an awesome viewpoint…that’s what I’ll call it. Like I said this is a short trail we noticed while exploring a road, and had a couple of hours to burn before sunset.
A quick out and back to an awesome view point overlooking the Po’omau Stream, which is part of the Waimea Canyon.
Saw no others…
I love these random huge ferns in the forest…
A view down into the Po’omau drainage…
The sign says “end of trail”, but we went a little further 🙂
Waterfalls and pools down in the Kawakikoa Stream…
I sneezed and this came out…not really, it’s some fort of fungus we found off the side of the trail. Deb tells me it’s an Anemone Stinkhorn Fungus…
