Lakeview Mountain…
We have seen this mountain recently from several peaks we’ve bagged. It really stands out at 7066’. There is no trail to the summit, but the SW ridge provides an easy approach. We went off-trail just after passing Saddle Lake. It’s easy travel, just steep in parts. After a long break at the summit, we followed our track back to the trail near Saddle Lake, headed south on the trail around a couple of switchbacks, then went cross-country towards Pretty Lake, to catch the Pretty Lake trail back to where we parked, making for a fun loop.
Another fun day outside with my sweet wife, Deb.
Fawn Lake. One of three lake we’ll hike by…

Deb asked me if I would see if my camera could take a better pic of the emerging growth…OK!

A look at the SW ridge that we’ll pick our way to the summit.

Crescent lake in the far distance (right), and Stag Lake down below (left). You can also see, through the trees, Fawn Lake (center).

Mount Yoran (right) and Point 7138 (South Yoran)

Crescent Lake and Odell Butte…

I can see Mount Theilsen in the far Distance, Cowhorn and Sawtooth Mtn’s, and Summit Lake…

Sometimes you find this when going cross-country. A log makes it much easier…

Very nice Karl. As always thank you for the vicarious pleasure.
