Finally finished Little Angora. Saturday we installed a bomber rap anchor at the north summit for a 95′ drop. The views were awesome. The coast range was blanketed with a low marine layer, but we had climbed above it.
Pitch 1
5-bolt aid ladder with an exposed scramble to the belay anchor. While on belay scramble up to tag the south summit.
Pitch 2
A short down climb with an airy step-over, then a traverse over to the base of the north summit which includes another airy step-over. There are three bolts along the way for safety. Pitch 2 ends with a short face climb to the north summit…then along the ridge to a new chain rap anchor.
Descent
Rap off the chain anchor 95′ to a large stump. Pull rope and scramble down the north side of the landing. Stay close to the rock or suffer the consequences. Make your way back around to the south end where your packs are waiting.
Another fun day with Chris and my lovely wife, Deb. Thanks for the help!

Where are the best avenues for learning how to climb on the Oregon Coast?
I am an old fat man that got the bug to try this.
