Here is a trip report and some photos of a recent outing to Little Cougar Rock. This is an adventure-thrash hike/climb in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Half the fun is getting there, and back…if you like bushthrashing…. The rock climb itself is rated at 5.4, but some actually scramble this route. If you choose to descend west of Little Cougar, make sure you bring a 70m rope for the 110′ forest rap.
