Mount Whitney attempt…
Headed down for another Mount Whitney climb, this time with my love, Deb. We did all the right things to prepare for this climb, but unfortunately the conditions on the mountain weren’t perfect. We got up to the notch (14,250’), and the final 400’ was snow and ice…and neither one of us were too excited about the descent, so we backed off.
No regrets though, we had beautiful weather and had a very enjoyable time.
