Mount Yoran…
Diamond Peak / Mount Yoran weekend. Yesterday Diamond, today Yoran. Same as yesterday, lots of bugs till above tree line (most of the way).
It’s been 13-years since last time up this rock. I forgot about the cross-over near the top and found myself going straight up…and when the exposed low 5th class showed up, I knew we were off route. After finding the cross over route it all cam back to me and we safely made it to the summit for a long break with awesome views, sunshine and no bugs.
Un-eventful descent and hike back to the truck. Now the dangerous part…the drive back home.
