Was headed up to Sugarloaf Mountain but ran into a gate stating no entry without a permit… Kinda the way most of the North Oregon coastal range is getting.
So we did Saddle Mountain instead… We were expecting rain but got a little snow. Nice day for a hike with occasional views of the surrounding clear cuts. At one point we did see as far as the Pacific Ocean.
After Saddle Mtn we stopped at the beach to touch the sand…
