Tomyhoi Peak / Yellow Aster Butte…
Headed up north for vacation, near the Canadian border. Hiked into camp and set up camp. That afternoon we hiked up to Yellow Aster Butte for some awesome views. Mountain Goats just below the summit.
The next morning, we hiked to Tomyhoi peak, which included a short but steep snow ascent, and a pretty cool rock scramble up the summit block. After getting back to camp we scouted a couple vacant camp spots and found one that was so nice we decided to stay another night…
Second time doing this tour…definitely would do it again.
