Keith has been trying to get us up on Triangulation Creek in the coastal range for a while now. Well Saturday looked like a good day for it. We were stopped by snow about a mile in front of the drop in point. After dropping into the drainage, we decided to traverse the hill side until we could see something interesting in the drainage…instead of a lot of logs and debris to crawl over. This trip had six waterfall raps and one 200’ dry escape rap. The flow was quite high so we stayed out of rap 7…which may turn out to be a few raps. We’ll head back in June/July to figure out what we are calling “Bobsled Falls”.
It was a 6-hour tour and definitely requires a shuttle…and high clearance vehicles. Today’s team…Karl, Keith, and Brad.
Very fun shit!!
