Vivian Lake from Salt Creek Falls…
Sunday was the better weather day, so we decided to hike up to Vivian Lake from the Salt Creek Falls trailhead. The parking lot was slush and, of course, raining… Salt Creek Falls was gushing. After a few miles, the rain turned to snow, and we put on snowshoes. By the time we got to Vivian Lake, the snow depth was a good 30” deep. A beautiful winter wonderland…
It was nice to get done with this hike and head back to Oakridge for lunch at The Three-Legged Crane Brewery.
Great day out with my lovely wife, Deb.

Gushing…
Winter (actually still fall) wonderland…
Met this little guy on the snowy trail. We moved it to a nice spot deep in a rotten log to warm up…
