Thimble Creek Canyoneer 7-13-24

Thimble Creek Canyoneer…

It has been over a year since canyoneering a wet drainage, so we were a bit rusty. It was a perfect day for it though. I first did the upper and lower section back in Sept of 2019, then with a lot less water. I would call this trip a moderate flow. It was a good flow for these rusty legs…

This trip we explored an alternate upper section that drains directly out of Blue Lake. We had two really nice falls, and a tunnel of slide alder before landing in the bowl, above the lower section of Thimble. The lower section was fun with the low angle falls, and the bottom falls.

Good day out with my lovely wife Deb, Kevin, Wade, Simon and Eric.
