Diamond Peak…
This weekend we tagged both Diamond Peak and Mount Yoran. Diamond Peak on Saturday. Lots of Mosquitoes! Once we got above tree-line they backed off. We were surprised how few people we saw the whole day. We scrambled a bit past the summit to see how far we could go…safely. Some day I’d like to go farther…and explore the east ridge.
Our descent route was all cross country until we hit the road, just .5 mile from the truck.
