Table Rock Family Hike 6-2-19

To celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday, we did a hike up to Table Rock. Perfect weather day. Big breakfast before the hike helped get us all to the summit.
On the descent we decided to go a lesser known route that takes you by several very large fir trees, maybe the largest in the Table Rock Wilderness.
Today’s team…Destinii (birthday girl), Ada, Brandon, Karina, Jenny, Tigie, Alejandro, Deb, and Karl.
Fun day with the family.

Ready to go…

The wild Tigie…

Taking a break at the top of a rock outcropping…

Heading down from the outcropping…

Those are great pictures Karl Looks like a professional photographer took them. Did not know Tigie was part of your group. Relation? Or friend? You got close to the other big tree that I think is the biggest. Just a little farther down and close to the open area. Lots of character to it also. I know if you want to find it you can. And again really like and appreciate those photos. They really capture the essence of the area and of your hike. Til we meet again.

Thanks Don. Tigie is my daughter’s partner. He’s a great guy…doesn’t get out into Nature much and Sunday he went wild. Nature has a way of doing that to some people 🙂
Ok, next time we are up there we will find the other big tree. Thanks for the info.
