Mount Marcy – New York (Highpoint)

Mount Marcy is the highest point in the state of New York at a whopping 5344’. Cold and clear day. Lots of ice on the trail. We opted not to take micro-spikes and did not have any problems, although we probably would have used them if we had them.

Big views from the summit.

Crossing over Marcy Brook.

One of a few crossings of Phelps Brook.

Bouldery trail…
