Pechuck Lookout 4-9-17

This time of year we choose a hike like this as a conditioner for the up coming climb season. After the night before’s fresh dusting of snow, the forest was beautiful…as always.

Deb, ready to go…all in black today 🙂

Lots of blow-down over the trail…this one is a surprisingly shallow root-ball.

Fresh snow along High-Ridge

The snow covered meadow at about 4400′

Deer track…and couldn’t figure out what the color was. Deer was eating an orange freeze-pop?

Nice view of Table Rock…

Arriving at the Pechuck Lookout…
